Projektdetaljer
Beskrivelse
The project stems from Yggdrasil whose main goal is to generate reference genomes to help understand and preserve biodiversity for as many of the planet’s eukaryotic species. These genomes will contribute to the Earth Biogenome Project, where they can be used for the classification of new or extant species. Furthermore, the genomes will provide insight into which species are at risk of extinction and will attempt to preserve their genomes, identify variants that can protect these species from annihilation.
