Abstract
In 2018 The Danish Government decided to develop a syllabus and a curriculum for a new school subject called Technology Comprehension (UVM, 2018-2021). The curriculum was built on the hopes and beliefs that by combining four areas of competencies: 1) Digital empowerment, 2) Digital design and design processes, 3) Technological understanding 4) Computational thinking this new subject would suffice the future needs for upcoming generations to participate in digitalized world.
