Abstract

We report in situ 26Al-26Mg ages of chondrules previously dated by the U-corrected Pb-Pb method. The 26Al-26Mg ages are systematically younger by ca. 1.5 Myr relative to the Pb-Pb ages, implying a reduced abundance of 26Al in chondrule precursors.
