Abstract

Background: According to evidence-based guidelines for treatment of subacromial impingement (SIS), non-operative care with three months of exercise therapy is first line of
treatment, but guideline adherence is unknown.
Aim: We investigated to what degree current care complies with clinical guidelines and
to what extent successful outcomes are achieved
