Abstract
In this paper, first, we explore how young children’s agency is framed in nature and science education activities in early childhood institutions, and how questions of social inequality are emerging and addressed. The paper draws on the first phase of research linked to a privately funded municipal project aiming at building socially inclusive science and nature education cultures in 10 urban Danish day care institutions located in neighborhoods with high numbers of children in vulnerable positions.
