Abstract

The article conveys the findings from a review on space and materiality in playful learning in higher education. Space and materiality are included as a parttakers of playful learning in higher education, but the use is not thoroughly developed. Materials are used as catalysts for playful approaches to learning and initiate participative forms of playful learning. There is a lack of knowledge in the area of playful learning in social education and teacher education.
