Abstract

This article is based on a joint research process combining three case-studies from three different domains; 1) health, 2) management and 3) continuing education. The cases present various ways in which teachers are scaffolded, when integrating technology in their teaching practice by playing with learning design processes. An interesting perspective are the factors that influence the creativity and scaffolding, which in this article are being investigated, e.g will there be room for development, opportunity for testing and evaluation of the digital didactic design created? Furthermore it is interesting to investigate if playing with learning design contribute to a change in the teachers' way of thinking, when redesigning their teaching practice into a digital context? Based on the three cases, the article describes how the developers, who are teachers in daily worklife, are being scaffolded by learning designs, in the development of learning objects. These learning objects (learning assets) is brought into a holistic learning design [1], which are being tested in practice. The empirical data contains interviews and observations. The focus is on the teachers' learning in the design process and the factors that have had the greatest importance in scaffolding the design process.
