Learning through Play: Playspaces and PlayLab

Activity: Talk or presentation types › Lecture or presentation

    Description

A series of ‘PlayLabs’ were set up across universities in Denmark to help staff to develop or rethink their teaching using play as a medium (conceptually and with physical materials). Three PhD students who were involved in the project are now working with ARU to share the approach and bring local ‘PlayLabs’ to their campuses.

In this 2h workshop, Vici, Tina and Kim will introduce the PlayLab – and will then take you through a set of different play activities focused on your own teaching. You’ll hopefully leave the workshop with ideas and tools to build into your own practice.
