Research and development areas

I have a MA degree in Social Anthropology and a Ph.D. in social science with a specialization in gender, youth and welfare research. My research has been mainly based in Denmark using qualitative methods to explore issues such as interpersonal violence, crime, placement in out-of-home (secure) care and psychiatric care. I am engaged in teaching and developing theory and practice at the intersections of sociology, criminology and social work.
