Socionom graduate from Roskilde University and Master in Vulnerable Children and Adolescents from Aalborg University. Many years of practical experience with authority work and case work with vulnerable children and their families in municipalities. Dilligent editor and co-writer of textbooks on the social area - fx 'Socialt arbejde i et globaliseret samfund - udfordringer til en profession' (Forlaget Samfundslitteratur, 2015) og 'Socialrådgivning og socialt arbejde - en grundbog' (Reitzel, 2016). I have produced educational material for the continuing and professional education of professionals - fx the educational movie 'Samtaler med børn' (in cooperation with Karen Asta Bo). I research the social worker's conversations with adolescents.

Work areas

Primary areas of work:

Teaching emerging social workers about social work - primarily at The Intercultural/International programme.

Certain speciality areas:

- Communication and conversations with children and adolescents.

- Development of practitioners' and students' competencies through videobased feedback.

- Social work with ethnic minority families, social work in a globalised society.

Other areas of work:

Training of practicians in social work with vulnerable families with children - fx on how to talk to children and adolescents. I have taken part in the reinforcement of caseworkers working with children in several municipalities with the goal of improving the systematic casework.
