Personal profile

Presentation

I have worked within the social welfare field since 1991 on central, ministerial level as well as in the local and private sectors and with a wide range of tasks within administration, management, and project work. Since 2001, I have primarily worked with teaching, research and development. In 20011 – 2014, I wrote an interdisciplinary PhD on the legal regulation of children, and since then I have primarily worked with the law in this and adjacent areas, including especially social administration law. Since 2011, I have been co-responsible for the legal part of the Master's programme on Vulnerable Children and Young People (MBU) at Aalborg University. Over the years, I have also held a number of professional presentations at conferences, seminars, in research contexts, e.g. at ESWRA's research conferences and the Danish Research Conference of Administrative Law (AAU). In addition, I have given a number of presentations at the National Association of Local Authorities' Children's Summits, at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, the Association of Municipal Lawyers, in municipalities and organisations such as TUBA, Børns Vilkår, De Anbragtes Vilkår (The Danish Care Leavers’ Association) , etc. Most of my work is thus interdisciplinary with a focus on citizen engagement, organisation and the importance of formal and substantive requirements in practice.
