Since 2014, when I was appointed professor mso at DPU, I have developed the research fields of taste didactics, outdoor learning in school gardens, Home Economics Education [Madkundskab], well-being and mental health in elementary school and day care. The current focus of my research is didactics of praxis-knowledge [praksisfagdidaktik] in elementary school and teacher education; taste didactics and food education in school and day care (meals, cookbooks, teaching taste); outdoor taste education (children and nature, school gardens, see gardens) and wellbeing in school and preschool. I have an extensive international network, and I am engaged in international collaboration on joint publications and grant applications.
