I teach pre-service mathematics teachers at our teacher education program. My focus is to educate mathematics teachers with a capital M.
My main interest is inquiry-based mathematics teaching and how it can be implemented in schools, in a way that promotes opportunities for all students to learn mathematics.
Through continuous professional development and research projects, I have worked on developing inquiry-based teaching in collaboration with colleagues, mathematics teachers, and mathematics supervisors. Often within a framework of lesson studies, where we work systematically and cyclically with joint planning, teaching, observation, and reflection.
This includes projects such as NYMAT, SUM, and SYKL. The latter also focus on enabling students to help each other in pairs in a systematic way.
Additionally, I run our social media profiles (under the profile Mathematik på KP). Here we promote mathematics, mathematics teaching, and our initiatives at KP.
