    Project Details

    Description

The primary aim is to determine the inter-tester reliability of the area of pain and the pain quality pins & needles, as well as the distance of radiating pain beyond the shoulder using detailed male and female digital body charts in patients with shoulder disorders. The secondary aims are to investigate the discriminate validity of area of pain and pins & needles as well as the distance of pain radiating beyond the shoulder when compared to pain intensity determine the effect of pain intensity, area of pain and pins & needles, as well as the distance of pain radiating beyond the shoulder on patient-reported shoulder function and describe and visualize the distribution of pain, pins & needles, and the distance of pain radiating beyond the shoulder in patients with differing shoulder disorders.
