Abstract

The purpose of this report is to create knowledge
about central actors’ understanding of play; knowledge
about pedagogical professionals’ understandings
of connections between play, development and
learning; and knowledge about how these understandings
are manifested through pedagogical
practice as pedagogical play proficiency, in which
play is supported and facilitated by pedagogical
professionals for the purpose of children’s development
and learning.
